Tourney Series Roles
Main or First TD
This TD is the main floor TD, they oversee the tourney, make sure the tables are balanced, that dealers are doing their jobs right, and that players are comfortable.
Primary Tasks
- Arrive 30 mins before the tourney starts to make sure the tourney is ready to go
- Have the early bonus chips out
- Have the dealer trays w stacks out
- Know which dealers start the tourney and make sure they will be on time
- Announce that doors are open 15 mins before the start of the tourney
- Set up the TVs with the clock on the 4 TV screens plus the big TV
- Overseeing that the whole tourney, making sure everything is running smoothly
- Captures media content, videos, pictures, hand histories, fun vibes
- Resolves problems during the tourney
- Sets up the TV for sports, makes sure the tourney clock is on and the audio is audible
- Does the draw for the seats to the flips to the events
- Opener, MB, Monday, Lucky 7s, HR, PKO (6 events):
- every day 1 raffle per 60 entries
- “$60 ME 1A flip seat”
- ME 1A:
- every day 1 raffle per 60 entries
- “$60 ME 1B flip seat”
- ME 1B, Freezeout, Deepstack, Closer (4 events):
- every day 1 raffle per 45 entries
- “$45 Oct Monthly Championship flip seat”
- Calculates and publishes the payouts
- Does the MB prizes on the app and the physical cards
- Performs the soft hand-for-hand
- Ensures that the stage/FT is ready to play on
- Takes pictures of the FT and uploads the photo
- Takes pictures of every player on the FT and prepares the champion photo for the TV
- Takes the champion’s photo and edits it
- Update the leaderboard
- Closes the game.
Secondary Tasks
- Help buy players in
- Helps manage the dealer rotations
- Helps redo the chip stacks
Secondary TD
The second TD will help will many of the tasks in the cage, manages the dealer rotations, and resets the game for the next day.
