This is what you are aiming for:

• this is the set up for the SSW side

Equipment

• Camera: tourney cabinet (bottom level)
• SD card: 1 is in the camera, 2nd one is in the mic bag
• Mic: inside a black bag, also in the tourney cabinet
• tripod: on the stage; use the one w an orange ball
• lighting: on the stage (rectangular top)
• TV (100”): turn on w the remote control on the stage (sits on top of the soundbar)

Steps

1. Install the camera on to the tripod

   1. Make sure the base of the camera (a lil rectangular thing) is attached to it
   2. Slide this into the part on the tripod
   3. Turn the small wheel (righty tighty) to secure

2. Plug in and turn on the lighting

   1. Flick the I or II
   2. Adjust the spinny things to change the brightness and yellowness
   3. Kate prefers slightly whiter than yellow range
   4. Don’t make it too bright that the coaches are very uncomfortable but make sure the lighting is good

3. Set up the mic

   1. Take the stretchy cord out of the small black bag and take out the small box
   2. Open the small box and take out that rectangular thingy and a circular thingy (that’s the mic)
   3. attach the mic to the coach
   4. plug in the cord into the rectangular thingy and the camera (very top left of the camera). plug it in both holes, they’re both the same either side

e. test out the mic by recording (can read the next step)

f. make the coach walk far away n speak normally and then stop recording. rewatch it to see if the recording sounds right

1. Formatting the card

   1. The SD card should be formatted if the last person did it correctly
   2. To format the card, you turn on the camera and click MENU
   3. you should see a thing that says FORMAT, click that n agree w what it says
   4. Now the card is wiped clean

2. Recording time

   1. The camera should be setup on the video recording (you’ll know if you see a 0:00 on your screen)
   2. click the red circle to begin recording
   3. to end the recording, click on the red circle again
   4. to watch the recording, click on the triangle button to the right of the screen (bottom right); it’s a physical button not a button on the screen

3. Upload the recording.

   1. the only computer that has the SD slot is the Big Mac, not either of the Mini Macs; upload it there
   2. Open the folder that I sent (google drive folder) and upload all of the files
   3. Once it’s done, move all of the files in the SD card into the trash
   4. Then go to the Finder and click the top left, and find the button that says Empty Trash…
   5. Then insert the SD card into the camera and format the card
   6. to format, click MENU, then find the FORMAT option and say yes
